Groom Was Visually Disabled in One Eye

During the dwarpuja ceremony, the women noticed unusual whispers after seeing the groom. When the bride stepped onto the stage and saw him closely, she was shocked.

The groom was blind in one eye, a fact that was allegedly hidden behind his spectacles. There were already doubts about his mental condition as well.

Realizing this, the bride immediately refused to proceed with the wedding. When relatives tried to convince her, she even threatened to commit suicide if forced.

Heated Arguments, Police Intervention

The situation escalated quickly as arguments broke out between the bride’s and groom’s families. Matters turned so serious that both sides came close to physical altercation.

Police arrived upon receiving information from villagers and intervened to pacify the situation. A village panchayat was held, which continued for several hours. Eventually, settlements regarding expenses were made and the baraat was allowed to leave.

Bride’s Brother Supported Her Decision

The bride’s brother strongly supported her, saying he would not allow his sister to be forced into a marriage she didn’t want. He even warned that pushing the matter further could lead to “unpleasant consequences.”

The festive atmosphere of the village suddenly turned into panic and disruption. After hours of chaos, the entire baraat returned to Baitapur without the bride.
