Fake Doctors Claim Lives Every Month, Administrative Action Under Question in NarkatiaganjNarkatiaganj

Narkatiaganj (West Champaran):
The increasing number of fake doctors and illegally operated private hospitals in the city is becoming a serious threat to public health. A recent incident from Emergency Hospital located in Suman Bihar, Narkatiaganj, has once again exposed the dark reality of the healthcare system.

AccordinAccordinAccordingAccording to information, a 22-year-old woman underwent a cesarean delivery at the hospital. Shortly after the surgery, her condition deteriorated rapidly. The hospital referred her first to Bettiah, and later she was sent from Bettiah to Gorakhpur. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, the young woman could not be saved.

After her death, the victim’s family accused the hospital’s director, Saddam Hussain, of gross medical negligence. They claimed that the treatment was careless and unprofessional. Soon after the incident, all doctors and staff of the hospital fled the premises, further deepening the suspicion.

Considering the seriousness of the case, the administration sealed the hospital. However, local residents believe that sealing alone is not a permanent solution. Many such hospitals resume operations after a few days under a different name, which is highly condemnable.

People allege that Narkatiaganj is flooded with fake doctors who run their illegal clinics through brokers and agents. In the pursuit of money, they are shamelessly playing with human lives — risking the lives of daughters, mothers, and wives.

What is even more alarming is that such incidents occur every few months in the city, yet no strict or lasting action is taken by the authorities. The public now demands concrete measures to permanently shut down these illegal medical networks before more innocent lives are lost.
